A "Heatrola" (or close to it). This coal fired parlor heater is still in operation at Beaver Brook, PA. It's very much like the one in grandmother Mary Marko's company house. The stamped inscription reads "Warm Morning".

A fancier, earlier version of the parlor heaters in Beaver Brook is shown below. This one is not the actual appliance at Grandmother Marko's place, it's a good deal more elaborate ... but they were similar. Today these small coal furnaces are for sale only as expensive refurbished antiques.
