| The old Jersey Central Railroad bridge over Buck Mountain creek/Indian Run at Rockport, PA. The tracks have been removed and the heavy structure now supports only the Lehigh Gorge State Park hiker-biker path which runs between White Haven and Jim Thorpe (Mauch Chunk). | This Rockport location is the only convenient put-in and take-out point for canoes and kayaks on the Lehigh River between the white water expedition terminals of White Haven and Jim Thorpe, 24 river miles distant. |
