View of McAdoo, PA from North St. in Kelayres, March,
2002: The view is to the southeast and is now unobstructed by the slate
bank that used to exist at this location. That large hill was removed
to provide fill for the immense old Honeybrook stripping, now seen as
the grassy field in the foreground. St.
Mary's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on W. Blaine St. is the largest
structure in the background.

Cleveland Street, McAdoo, PA, Feb. 2003, the day after
the big snow. Looking north, St. Michael's Byzantine Church at left,
St. Patrick's Irish Church at right.

|
Same as above, right, but looking south from alongside
St. Michael's Church. The snowplow had got itself stuck.
|
What used to be the St. Patrick's parish convent located
to the north of the church. View is from directly behind the viewpoint
in the picture at left.
