The intervening ridges are Green-Buck Mountain and the Nescopeck Mountain. Past the power plant in the far distance are the dimly seen Endless Mountains. | |

In the far distance you can barely see the rounded rise of Delano Mountain or "Bear's Head". This rise is the highest point in the Anthracite coal fields, nearly 2100 feet above sea level. The town of Shenandoah, PA is the white patch in the middle distance. |
